Castle Ruins & Nature Walk

24 Reviews

A nature walk with a historical theme.

The scenic park is located right in the middle of town. Depending on the season, there are a variety of edible plants and mushrooms that have long been important to the local cuisine. If you are lucky, you may see some wildlife, including serows, flying squirrels, and sometimes even bears.

About This Tour:

The tour ends in a lovely playground favored by local children, where the concession stand serves the best yakitori chicken in town. You can get ice cream, beer, or other refreshments after your hike.

While the hiking is not too strenuous, there is a lot of climbing up and down. We recommend wearing sturdy shoes and bringing some water with you.
